Supporting Ohio's Professional and Emerging Writers.

The Ohio Writers’ Association supports professional writers and emerging authors.

We currently offer writers’ workshops and publishing opportunities, with more planned for the future. We also work diligently to support our membership by promoting the great work of emerging Ohio authors.

A membership allows you to

  • Access peer critique workshops and get personalized feedback on your work.

  • Upload documents to our online forum for online feedback.

  • Create your own writer's group—whether you're working on a project with friends, or hosting your own NaNoWriMo group.

  • Chat with members live.

  • Get discounts for events and submission fees.
