Peer Critique Submissions Open: November 2026

Submission Deadline: by end-of-day, Friday, 10/23

Workshop Date: November 5th, 2026, 6:30 PM – 8 PM

Location: Zoom Only

Please send submissions in PDF format to workshops@ohiowriters.org. You may submit a short story, novel excerpt, essay, poetry, or non-fiction pieces. Please limit your submissions to 1 document of up to 7,000 words. All submissions must include a name, email, and word count at the top of the document. All pieces submitted are subject to host approval and must follow these guidelines to be considered.

 For novel excerpts or large bodies of work, please only submit up to the first 7000 words, no middle chapters, and no repeating submissions.

If you have specific feedback questions for our attendees to address feel free to include them at the top/bottom of your document.

We will accept the first 7 submissions. You must be present at the Zoom meeting to receive feedback, so only submit if you're confident you can attend. You can find the submissions, once we post them, on our File Share page.

If you don’t have a piece but would still like to attend, please email us at workshops@ohiowriters.org to let us know. We will make the materials available at least a week before the workshop, and will email the Zoom link on the day of the workshop to those who submit or RSVP.
