Breakout Session: How to Bootstrap a Book Launch

Danika Bloom is a USA Today bestselling romance author who started her career life delivering communications workshops to not-for-profits and mentoring small business owners for a credit union in British Columbia, Canada. Danika was a two-term Vice President of her local Romance Writers of America chapter and a member for ten years. In 2018, she co-founded an online community for writers, facilitating twice-weekly motivation and accountability masterminds until January 2023, when Danika turned her full attention to her own online community, Author Ever After, where she supports early career romance authors. Writing as Donna Barker, she has also written and co-authored four guides for writers. A fun fact about Danika (at least if you’re taking her out for lunch)—she has a brutal garlic allergy, despite having no vampires in her bloodline. Though she is the ninth great-grand-daughter of Susannah North Martin, one of the last women executed in the Salem Witch Trials of 1692.
