Every story included in Triskaidekan was written by an Ohio author. You’ll recognize the names of some, and others are making their fiction debut.

From thirteen cats, to the thirteen turns of the hangman's noose, to the unnatural value of the number 13 itself, these creative, witty, intriguing stories take the number 13 in every conceivable direction.

Triskaideka is a prefix referring to “thirteen,” as in triskaidekalets (thirteen babies), triskaidekacycle (a vehicle with thirteen wheels), and triskaidekaphobia (the fear of the number 13).
