The reason so many of us don’t like history is that it’s taught in a boring, fact-focused way that has nothing to do with people we care about. Historical fiction is our revenge: it’s about believable people in desperate situations, set in a historical context that we absorb through our skin. We don’t need to memorize the history because we're living it as we read. Chris will focus on helping current and aspiring authors meet their own writing challenges and will also spend some time discussing the greatest of all writing problems, publication.
Chris Farrar has published By the Waters of Babylon and Light…
