About the event
Our monthly peer critique is a supportive, collaborative space where writers come together to share their work, receive thoughtful feedback, and grow within a creative community. Each session is held via Zoom and offers participants the opportunity to either submit their writing for critique or attend as a reader and contributor.
Participants are encouraged to approach feedback from the perspective of a reader, rather than a writer—focusing on what resonates, what feels unclear, and where engagement is strongest. This helps create more authentic, useful responses that reflect how real audiences experience a piece.
If you plan to actively participate and receive feedback on your own work, you are expected to read all submitted pieces in advance and come prepared to offer constructive, respectful input to others. Those who prefer to listen and learn are always welcome to attend without submitting work.
