About the event
The Grove City Book Festival is a free, one-day celebration of books, creativity, and community, taking place Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Town Center Park and the Grove City Library.
As part of Grove City’s America 250 celebration, the festival highlights Ohio’s rich literary culture with a full day of programming for readers and writers of all ages.
Attendees can explore a vibrant Bookish Marketplace featuring local vendors, meet authors and writing groups in Author Alley, enjoy food trucks, and participate in a community book swap. The festival also includes workshops, panel discussions, book signings, and live performances such as open mic poetry throughout the day.
