About the event
You can attend this workshop either in person or online via Zoom. This month, our workshop will be at the Columbus Main Library (downtown) at 6:30pm p.m in Meeting Room 1B. There's a parking garage below the library that is $1-2.
Please send submissions in PDF form to workshops@ohiowriters.org and include the date of the workshop in the subject line. You may submit a short story, novel excerpt, essay, poetry, or anything else you’d like feedback on.
Please limit your submissions to 7,000 words and include a word count at the top of the document. It's recommended to use Modern Manuscript Format, which you can learn about here: https://www.shunn.net/format/story/
We will accept the first 10 submissions. You must be present either in person or online to receive feedback, so only submit if you’re confident you can attend. If you don’t have a piece but would like to attend, please send an email to workshops@ohiowriters.org to let us know. We ask everyone to read and prepare feedback on the other submissions.
